Climate change is negatively affecting agriculture, food production and rural livelihoods in general.

CIRDAP Rural Development Report titled Impacts of Climate Change on Rural Livelihoods suggests that climate change change is negatively affecting agriculture, food production and rural livelihoods in general. It may intensify the pressure on available resources and ecosystem and trigger a vicious cycle of poverty, resource degradation, environmental deterioration and social unrest.
