An Intergovernmental & Autonomous Organization; Established in 1979, Mandated for Promoting & Strengthening Integrated Rural Development Systems for 15 Asia-Pacific Countries; Namely Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Fiji, India, Indonesia, IR Iran, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand & Vietnam.

THE 1st FLAGSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMME ORGANIZED BY CIRDAP & BARD NOVEMBER 4-25, 2022

The Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP) and Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) jointly organized the 1st regional training programme on Integrated Rural Development, Governance, Trade, and Sustainable Development in Asia and the Pacific, from 4-25, November 2022. A total of 18 participants participated in the course from 11 countries, of which 9 were female and 9 were male. Many prominent experts on the subjects were invited as speakers from different countries.

The inaugural session was held at CIRDAP International Conference Centre (CICC) on 5 November 2022, inaugurated by the Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, Government of Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Tajul Islam, MP.

The closing session was held at CIRDAP International Conference Centre (CICC) on 24 November, 2022, the respected Secretary of the Rural Development and Cooperative Division, Ministry of LGRD & Cooperatives, Government of Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Mashiur Rahman, NDC graced the session as the Chief Guest.

THE 2ND FLAGSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMME ORGANIZED BY CIRDAP & BARD NOVEMBER 3-27, 2023

The Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP) and Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) jointly organized the 2nd regional training programme on Integrated Rural Development, Governance, Trade, and Sustainable Development in Asia and the Pacific, from 3-27, November 2023. A total of 24 participants participated in the course from 14 countries, of which 11 were female and 13 were male. This time also several prominent experts on the subjects were invited as speakers from different countries.

The inaugural session was held at CIRDAP International Conference Centre (CICC) on November 4, 2023, inaugurated by the Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, Government of Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Tajul Islam, MP.

The closing session was held at CIRDAP International Conference Centre (CICC) on November 25, 2023, the respected Senior Secretary of Rural Development and Cooperative Division, Ministry of LGRD & Cooperatives, Government of Bangladesh, Ms. Mosammat Hamida Begum graced the session as the Chief Guest.
