Brief Biography
Dr. Nuanchan Singkran completed her Ph.D. program from Cornell University, USA in 2007 with a major field in Aquatic Science and minor field in Environmental Systems Engineering. She worked for Pollution Control Department, Thailand during 2008–September 2012. She has become a permanent lecturer at Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, Thailand since October 2012. Besides her working experiences in the related fields of aquatic ecology and modeling, Nuanchan’s research interests are oil spill modeling and management, flood risk management and material flow analysis in diverse systems and city metabolisms in relation to urban development and anthropogenic influences.
