Brief Biography

Swisa Ariyapruchya is currently Section Head at PIER. Prior to her current position, she has worked in a broad range of central banking functions including financial landscape development, financial inclusion, financial liberalization, and financial markets. Prior to her current position, she led the Sustainable Banking and International Strategy Division which oversaw the strategic planning, policy formulation and execution with regards to sustainable banking policies in Thailand. Swisa has an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from SASIN Graduate Institute of Business Administration, Chulalongkorn University and a Bachelors degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
