IMPETUS will provide city authorities with new means to address security issues in public spaces, and so help to protect citizens. The presentations is done by Joachim “Joe” Levy, who is the Founder and CEO of AiLert (previously 1702ai), an elite team that provides a real-time weapon detection tool designed to detect firearms using surveillance cameras. Before launching AiLert, Joe spent 10 years at Apple Computers Inc. where he gained his expertise in image processing. Joe also spent time in Hollywood as one of the top motion picture editors whose work received an Oscar nomination.
