The TIEMS 2023 Annual Conference will take place in a hybrid format at the Rhodes University campus and the Stenden South Africa in Sarah Baartman District Municipality, the Eastern Cape in South Africa, see https://ru.ac.za/ for details.

This conference will be accompanied by a set of field trips and workshops on the TIEMS TQC^TM & TQAC^TM International Certification and the emergency management/disaster risk management of the Eastern Cape Province in South Africa.

South African professional organizations will also be supporting the conference, such as the North-West Umbrella Fire Protection Association.

The main topic of the 2023 Annual TIEMS Conference is:

Crises, Emergencies and Disasters – a Continuum of Challenges and Opportunities in the 21^st Century
