THE movement control order (MCO) has done a very good job of decreasing the current wave of the pandemic but it has only deferred the pandemic. We need to work to prevent the second and subsequent waves, some of which may be even bigger. The Covid-19 pandemic is estimated to last 1-2 years or longer.
