Call for CIRDAP IRD Expert

Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP) is calling for Expression of Interest (EOI) from Rural Development Experts from CIRDAP Member Countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Iran, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam) for the position of CIRDAP IRD Expert. The guidelines and application process are as follows: Criteria Roles and Responsibilities Benefits The incumbent will be paid honorarium in recognition of a special service provided under his/her roles and responsibilities. Tenure The incumbent is appointed for a term of two years, and subject to extension for another term. Application Process Deadline for Application/Nomination: 31 August 2019.

Int. Training on GIM in Rural Development

CIRDAP in collaboration with the National Institute for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR) is organising an International Training Programme on Geospatial Information Management (GIM) in Rural Development to be held on 19-28 March 2019 in Hyderabad, India. Nominations are expected from CIRDAP member countries. The participants will be mid and senior-level government officials dealing with Geo – Spatial Information Management (GIM) or Geographic Information System (GIS) from relevant government or non-government organizations. Official nominations should be come through CIRDAP contact ministry with the prescribed nomination form and sent to training@cirdap.org by 18 February 2019. Before starting the application process, kindly read the “Application Procedure” very carefully. Call for Thematic Experts

CIRDAP is calling for Expression of Interest (EOI) from Thematic Experts from CIRDAP Member Countries. || Responsibilities || – Designing training curriculum; – Developing target specific training tools/tool-kits, manuals based on training needs assessment; – Conducting trainings/workshops; – Carrying out course/participants pre and post assessment; and – Developing Programme Report. || Qualifications || – Advanced degree in relevant Focus Area with research work and publications; – Strong working experience on relevant focus area; – Knowledge and experience of conducting Trainings/Workshops; and – Ability of team working and developing relationships with participants. Quotation for CIRDAP digital library Interior Design

CIRDAP is seeking sealed quotations from reputed Bangladeshi Interior design firms to design and implement, make effective layout plans, procure furniture and decorate interior space for CIRDAP digital library. The interior firm/ contractor must have adequate qualification and experience of execution of similar interior decoration works in commercial / office buildings. Experience of working with international organization will be an added advantage. Please submit the proposal along with i) cover letter ii) a portfolio in support of the qualification and experience of the contractor iii) Certificate of completion of same works iv) CV of the architect , designer, site in charge to be engaged with the project v) Design ( both 3D and layout plan vi) proposed timeline with a Gantt chart vii) Financial proposal  to be submitted on or before 30th June, 2018 by 14:30 Hour , to CIRDAP Head office tender box, 17, Topkhana road, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
