Geo-informatics & Modern Survey Techniques for Planning Management

CIRDAP in collaboration with NIRD&PR is organizing an international Training Programme on “Geo-informatics & Modern Survey Techniques for Planning Management” to be held on 20-29 November 2019 in Hyderabad, India.

Geo- Informatics and Modern Survey Techniques applications for rural resource development and capacity building have been found to play a potential role in promoting natural resource productivity for sustainable development for good governance and service delivery to the poor. In the recent past in Asian-pacific countries, Geo- Informatics and Modern Survey Techniques has emerged as an effective tool in designing rural development programmes, with focus on sustainable poverty reduction and environmental conservation.

Through this training, CIRDAP is aiming to enhance capacity of rural development practitioners of CIRDAP Member Countries (CMCs) to assist Asia-Pacific countries in moving towards convergence of Remote Sensing, Geographic Information System, Global Positioning System and Modern Survey techniques for better managing the natural resources and the environment for achieving economic and social goals.

Role of the CIRCAP Link Ministry:
Nominations must be submitted to training@cirdap.org in the prescribe nomination form along with official letter by 5th October 2019. You are requested to compile all nominations from relevant organizations and select according to criteria.

Role of other Organization of the CMC:
Nominations have to send to CIRDAP Focal Point by 1st October 2019 keeping training@cirdap.org in CC

Role of Participants:
After being nominated from the organization, Participants have to upload the following documents in CIRDAP Application Link.

Instructions

  • Applications received after the deadline and self-nomination will not be accepted;
  • Failure to submit the incomplete information and required documents will not be considered;
  • Upon successful submission of application,
    selected candidates will be notified of their status prior to two weeks of the
    programme; 
  • Please note that nomination of a candidate
    does not necessarily guarantee that s/he will be selected. Selection is the
    discretion of the CIRDAP Secretariat;
